I’m 17, I’ve got pancreatitis (which is mostly an adult condition), and no peds doctors will touch me because they don’t know what to do, but all the adult doctors are like “PEDS. TOO YOUNG.” I’ve been rejected but too many doctors.
Ha, I’ve had both that and the opposite. I’m 22 and can’t age out of my peds neuro-op because I can’t find an adult specialist. I did have trouble getting someone to treat my spine problem, though; I had to go ahead and get an adult doctor two years early.
